Dana 24. ožujka 2018. godine, u dvorani Zrinski, Hotela Palace u Zagrebu, održana je 16. Godišnja i ujedno Izborna skupština HLZ-Hrvatskog društva medicinskih vještaka zdravstvenog osiguranja. Gost skupštine bio je prof. dr. sc. Željko Krznarić, dr. med., Predsjednik Hrvatskog liječničkog zbora, koji je skup pozdravio, a potom i održao zanimljivo stručno predavanje - „Sindrom kratkog crijeva – nove mogućnosti liječenja“.
